Home education during covid has been different.
Nothing is normal during these times and it has been difficult to do things as so many classes and activities have been closed, but...if you look you will find.
I have to admit with my two, as they are teenagers as well, it has been hard to get them out of the house now that lessons have gone digital, but today I found a beautiful woodland project in Danbury Essex.
Here my children learnt about permaculture, helped prepare the land for vegetables and start to build polytunnels. They helped cook the food and have volunteered to do artwork.
Today they learnt about giving back, about helping others, giving back to the Earth and they got off technology!
So many of our park are open too, we recently found Marks Hall Estate in Coggeshall and had a lovely walk around there too.
Education as we know it is important but there is so much more to life than books, and the beauty of home education is that we as the parents get to show them this as well.
